Welcome to Warren East High School and an exciting 2017-18 school year where, the teachers and leadership continue to ensure learning is taking place in every classroom with every student and building relationships with your students will be on the top of our list!!

Mr. Bastin, Mr. Young, Mr. Vincent and I are so very excited about being your leaders once again. I look forward to working, not only with the students, parents and teachers currently involved at Warren East, but also those who are members of our community and our feeder schools. I hope WE can all embrace being or becoming a Raider no matter how old or how young.

A LOT has changed at Warren East over the past three years!  WE have undergone major renovations and remodeling inside and out.  The gymnasium has undergone a complete renovation in the 2016-17 school year.  The new bleachers and new playing floor were proudly unveiled last fall.  WE enjoyed playing several home basketball games on the new floor with new lights and new locker rooms!  The new facilities, I promise, are state of the art and unmatched anywhere in the state.  The blue turf is the talk of the state!  WE are very proud and very thankful for all the Warren County Board of Education for all the renovations and updates to our facilities!  WE are proud of the new face on WEHS that has put us on the map!

WE are looking forward to a year filled with opportunities for all students to learn and grow with the goal of becoming someone they can be proud to be. It is our goal to help all students become career and/or college ready. WE have partnered with the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce and will be introducing new opportunities for students to do job shadowing and possible internships with local businesses.  WE continue to offer Advanced Placement classes, as well as an extensive list of Dual Credit classes through SKYCTC, WKU and Murray State University.  WE continue to work with the Area Technology Center to offer an Engineering and Robotics pathway for Warren East students, as well as several other pathways the students love!  These offering is in addition to the other pathways to career readiness at WE.  I have all the confidence in the world our teachers are up for any challenge brought their way and WE will all be working together for the benefit of our students.

I, as always, would like to encourage everyone to get involved with some aspect of Warren East High. This could happen by: students joining clubs and getting involved in extra-curricular activities; parents getting involved as volunteers or supporting your child(ren) as they play sports or take part in the spring musical, art exhibit or academic team match; community members hearing my plea that you become enthusiastic fans of Warren East in every way possible.  I invite alumni to come for a visit, have lunch with us, or attend an athletic event and cheer as part of the Warren East family, because YOU ARE!

The leadership team and I love Warren East! I hope that love will spill over into this community, and WE can let the cat out of the bag and everyone in Warren County will know--Warren East will no longer be the best kept secret in the district, but is known as the loudest and the proudest!

Please check out our website, follow us on Twitter and keep up to date with all that is going on at WEHS!

Last, but certainly not least, please do not ever hesitate to call, email or stop by if there is an issue with your student!  WE know they are the most important thing to you.  WE appreciate you allowing us to be a part of their lives and we want you to know we take that privilege very seriously!

Let's make it a great year at Warren East!!!
