Hello Bobcat Family!
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2018-19 school year here at Richardsville Elementary. This is an exciting time for the staff as we welcome several new students and staff to our school. We hope you are just excited for the learning opportunities for your child. Our belief is that all students can learn and grow when they are engaged in a positive learning environment.
Many of our teachers have spent several days participating in professional learning events to improve their practice. The result will be improved teaching and learning in the classroom where effective instruction paramount and individualized to meet each student's academic needs.
We have many expectations and goals for the school year but one to watch for is our pursuit of Lighthouse Status as part of a Leader in Me School; this aligns with The 7 Habits of Happy Kids skills implemented at Richardsville Elementary. Students that learn to be leaders of their own learning are taking the first step toward being successful.
As a parent, you play a VERY important role in your child's education; you are their FIRST teacher! Please consider continuing this role by supporting your child through several opportunities to volunteer and serve at the school. Imagine the impact if each parent volunteered one day out of the school year; the results would be AMAZING. To get started, please contact Ms. Casey Campbell in our FRYSC office. Her number is 270-777-3678 or email her firstname.lastname@example.org .
Again, thank you for entrusting us with the privilege of caring and educating your child; there is not another job more significant or rewarding. If you have questions, concerns, or ideas on how we can improve as a school, I encourage you to contact me at email@example.com or call 270-777-3232. I would love the opportunity to talk with you.
Go Bobcats!!... Be Your BEST!!
