The 4th Annual WCPS Hunger Run is Saturday, September 23 at Ephram White Park.  Please come out and support the Family Resource Coordinators in Warren County. With each paid registration, you will be eligible to win some great door prizes. This is a wonderful event and fun for the whole family.

Oakland Student Wins "Dream Out Loud" Competition Dream Out Loud
New WCPS Attendance Policy For 2018-19 Policy
Dream Out Loud Challenge Winner Luke presented with award

Oakland student, Luke Penrose, won the 2018 KESPT Dream Out Loud Challenge. The Challenge invited students to submit an original poem, drawing, video or essay answering the question, “How will I change the world after college?” Luke chose to create a video showing that he would like to become a firefighter after college. Luke was presented with a $1,000 college savings account with the Kentucky Education Savings Plan Trust at a celebration at school on Friday, May 11, 2018. Pictured above is Luke with his parents and KESPT representative during the presentation. Oakland Elementary also received a $500.00 donation.
